A time once existed when being from a dysfunctional family was unique, or even notable, but now is as common as a Baby Boomer on Facebook. Bouncing along as an inconvenience to my mother who was struggling to find her happiness and place in the world, I attended 13 different schools between K-12 and evolved into this sometimes-overachieving, sometimes-lazy, laughing-at-everything smart [aleck].
